Abstract

Game-based learning (GBL) has emerged as a transformative pedagogical strategy that fosters student engagement, motivation, and cognitive development. A mixed-methods approach was employed, involving classroom interventions, student feedback surveys, and academic performance data from a select group of secondary school learners. The findings reveal that game-based educational practices not only enhance conceptual understanding but also improve problem-solving skills, collaboration, and sustained interest in learning. The study positions GBL as a sustainable instructional model that can be effectively integrated into mainstream curricula, especially in contexts requiring inclusive and engaging pedagogies. By aligning digital innovations with sustainable education frameworks, this research contributes to the discourse on policy and practice transformation in secondary education.
