Abstract
【English Abstract】 Methodology of Mathematical Analysis stems from the author's profound reflections during their journey from an undergraduate student to a doctoral teaching assistant. It aims to break the mechanical "Definition-Theorem-Proof-Exercise" cycle prevalent in traditional textbooks. This book emphasizes the motivation and intuition behind mathematical discoveries, guiding readers to uncover the underlying "Way" (core philosophy and historical context) amidst the dense jungle of "Techniques" (problem-solving tricks). The text comprehensively covers three core dimensions of modern mathematical analysis: Foundational Set Theory & Point-Set Topology: Starting from the ZFC axiom system and the precise characterization of the real number system, extending to the structural exploration of metric, topological, and normed spaces. Sequence Theory: An in-depth exploration of sequences, series, and sequences of functions, including the core issues of uniform convergence, power series, and Fourier series. Function Theory (Calculus): A thorough treatment of single and multivariable differential calculus, progressing from Riemann-Stieltjes integration and integration on differential forms (Stokes' Theorem) to the modern frameworks of Lebesgue integration and $L^p$ spaces. Key Features: Focus on the "Way" over "Techniques": Heavily references classic, highly original literature in the history of mathematics to expose readers directly to the thoughts of master mathematicians. Immersive Reading Experience: Designed to be read as fluidly as a novel, making the pursuit of foundational knowledge a pure joy. A Guide for the AI Era: Beyond a traditional set of lecture notes, this work serves as high-quality material for "Prompt Engineering." Readers can use its macro-level mathematical frameworks to interact highly effectively with Large Language Models (LLMs) to explore the unknown mathematical world. 2026. The results are packaged in the Greenfield Startup Model (GSM), which explains the priority of startups to release the product as quickly as possible, and the need to shorten time-to-market, by speeding up the development through low-precision engineering activities.
