Abstract
This study aims to determine the improvement of students' learning outcomes in comparing fractions material through the use of Fraction Board media in Grade IV of SDN 13 Mabit in the 2025/2026 academic year. The main issue underlying this research is students' lack of concrete understanding of fraction comparison concepts, which negatively impacts the quality and understanding of mathematics learning outcomes. This research utilized Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis & McTaggart / Kurt Lewin model, which comprises four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 9 fourth-grade students at SDN 13 Mabit. Data collection techniques were conducted through tests, observation sheets, and documentation. The indicator of success was set at a minimum of 80% of students reaching the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) of 70. The results showed that using Fraction Board media could improve student learning outcomes. The average score of students in Cycle I was 73. 3, with a learning mastery percentage of 55. 6% (5 out of 9 students achieved mastery). Following corrective actions in Cycle II, the average score increased to 84. 4, with the mastery percentage reaching 100% (all students achieved mastery). In conclusion, the use of Fraction Board media is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the material of comparing fractions in Grade IV at SDN 13 Mabit.
