Impact of Emotional Intelligence on Team Performance in Genpact: An Empirical Study

Emotional intelligence has become an essential factor influencing employee behaviour and organizational effectiveness in today's competitive business environment. This study examines the impact of emotional intelligence on team performance among employees at Genpact. A descriptive research design was adopted using primary data collected from 100 employees through a structured questionnaire. The collected data were analysed using percentage and frequency analysis, the statistical techniques employed in the original project. The findings reveal that emotional intelligence enhances communication, teamwork, motivation, conflict resolution, and employee collaboration, thereby improving overall team performance and organizational effectiveness within Genpact.

ЕМОЦИОНАЛНА ИНТЕЛИГЕНЦИЈА И ЛИДЕРСКЕ СПОСОБНОСТИ У УПРАВЉАЊУ ПРОЈЕКТИМА

This paper analyzes the relationship between emotional intelligence and leadership skills in the context of project management. Based on the results of a survey conducted among employees working in project management (primarily in the automotive industry), key areas for improvement were identified, particularly in the domains of team motivation, self-regulation, and feedback acceptance. The paper also provides concrete recommendations for the development of emotional and leadership competencies.

PSYCHOLOGICAL SAFETY AS A PREDICTOR OF SATISFACTION AND PERFORMANCE IN STUDENT TEAMS

The paper examines the role of psychological safety in team management. Based on data from 97 participants and using correlation and regression analyses, psychological safety was identified as a key predictor of satisfaction with team outcomes, while individual performance was primarily associated with personal contribution. The finding contributes to the development of evidence-based approaches to improving team effectiveness and management.
