PoseAdapter, a lightweight framework for high-fidelity 2.5D controllable image generation, and a Context-Aware Dual-Stream Representation, to resolve the generative trade-off between strict instance isolation and global coherence.
Abstract
While Text-to-Image (T2I) diffusion models have achieved remarkable success, precise spatial and orientational control in multi-object scenes remains a persistent challenge. Existing methods either rely on computationally expensive dense 3D maps or suffer from severe attribute leakage and"cut-and-paste"artifacts. To address these limitations, we propose PoseAdapter, a lightweight framework for high-fidelity 2.5D controllable image generation. Instead of dense spatial maps, it establishes precise spatial-angular anchors using an efficient condition layout: individual object captions, 2D bounding boxes, and 3D angles. To resolve the generative trade-off between strict instance isolation and global coherence, we introduce a Context-Aware Dual-Stream Representation. By injecting local object tokens and relation-enriched scene tokens into the visual stream of modern MM-DiT architectures via parallel masked and unmasked pathways, PoseAdapter eliminates attribute leakage while preserving natural inter-object relationships and scene-level coherence. To support this paradigm, we construct OrientLayout, a high-quality dataset featuring standardized 2.5D annotations and instance-level decoupled semantics. Extensive experiments demonstrate that PoseAdapter outperforms state-of-the-art baselines in spatial accuracy, orientational precision, and multi-object visual fidelity. Code and dataset will be available at https://github.com/cyf23/PoseAdapter.

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) delivers real-time and high-fidelity rendering but remains challenged by unconstrained in-the-wild scenes, where drastic appearance variations and transient objects violate multi-view consistency. Existing methods are fundamentally limited by independent and discrete embeddings that struggle to capture continuous environmental changes or model spatially-varying local illumination. To address these limitations, we propose \textbf{WilLaGS}, a unified framework for robust 3D scene reconstruction and generative appearance synthesis under unconstrained settings. Specifically, we introduce a generative appearance model where a $\beta$-VAE learns a structured and continuous manifold of global appearance. Conditioned on the latent code, we construct a 3D neural appearance field that generates dynamic Tri-Plane features to encode spatially-varying local illumination effects. Furthermore, to suppress transient artifacts, we present a self-supervised perceptual masking mechanism that leverages a Teacher-Student (EMA) architecture to derive a stable scene consensus, robustly identifying inconsistent regions via perceptual discrepancies. Extensive experiments on multiple datasets demonstrate that \textbf{WilLaGS} achieves state-of-the-art performance in reconstruction quality and novel view appearance synthesis, while maintaining real-time rendering efficiency.

Recent 3D foundation models can generate high-quality assets from a single image, but degrade markedly on unconstrained multi-image inputs, often producing distorted geometry, over-smoothed textures, and chaotic colors. We argue that this failure stems not from limited model capacity, but from a mismatch between single-image cross-attention and the multi-image setting: existing models lack a principled way to decide which image each 3D voxel should trust at each denoising step. Revisiting recent single-image 3D foundation models, we show that explicitly routing each voxel to its most informative image is sufficient to unlock strong performance on inconsistent multi-image inputs. Based on this observation, we propose UMI3D, a training-free and plug-and-play framework that restructures cross-attention for unconstrained multi-image 3D generation. Its core, Simultaneous Focus Cross-Attention (SFC-Attn), activates all conditioning images at each denoising step while allowing each voxel to focus on the single image that best explains it. To enable this routing, we derive the Voxel Reference Score (VRS), a model-intrinsic metric for voxel--image affinity that requires no external matching, segmentation, or correspondence models. Extensive experiments show that UMI3D unlocks the multi-image potential of single-image 3D generation frameworks across diverse tasks. Project Page: UMI3D-Project.github.io.

Monocular videos record 3D scenes as sequences of 2D image-plane projections, obscuring depth and spatial relationships. Multi-object trackers localize and associate objects primarily using appearance and geometry observed only in the image plane, inheriting these ambiguities. To address this limitation, we introduce PLANET, an end-to-end multi-object tracker designed to move beyond the image plane. As an enabling step, we lift existing 2D tracking datasets into 3D. We then form world-grounded queries by embedding reconstructed 3D scene geometry into the features and positional encodings used during query formation. An auxiliary 3D location prediction task further encourages the queries to encode object positions during training. A complementary dual-resolution temporal memory preserves this evidence across longer temporal gaps. As a result, PLANET achieves state-of-the-art performance across three diverse benchmarks.
