Abstract
This record documents the cell-free DNA (cfDNA) portion of the pretraining corpus of LEAF-1, a DNA language model of cell-free DNA and chromatin-accessibility fragments. The fragment files themselves (211 GB bgzip-compressed, 34.0 billion fragments) are too large for Zenodo and are hosted on Hugging Face: huggingface.co/datasets/jing-z/leaf1-pretraining-cfdna. Paper: bioRxiv 10.64898/2026.07.09.737627scATAC-seq portion of the pretraining corpus: 10.5281/zenodo.23176597TCGA ATAC-seq portion (controlled access; sample manifest and processing code): 10.5281/zenodo.23195360 This record contains the sample manifest and md5 checksums of the uncompressed and compressed files. Fragments derive from FinaleDB (Zheng et al., 2021, Bioinformatics) and the studies of Adalsteinsson et al. 2017, Cristiano et al. 2019, Jiang et al. 2015 and Sun et al. 2019; please cite them when reusing the data.
The results are packaged in the Greenfield Startup Model (GSM), which explains the priority of startups to release the product as quickly as possible, and the need to shorten time-to-market, by speeding up the development through low-precision engineering activities.
