PENGARUH KEMAMPUAN MENGELOLA EMOSI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI ASAM-BASA KELAS XI MAS AT-TAQWA BERU

Oct 2026 · SCIENCE Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Matematika dan IPA

Abstract

This research is motivated by the varied understanding of acid-base concepts among eleventh-grade students of MAS At-Taqwa Beru, frequently accompanied by academic anxiety, poor self-confidence, and a propensity to surrender prematurely when solving complex chemical calculations. This study aims to describe the profile of emotional management skills, evaluate student learning outcomes in acid-base materials, and analyze the significance of the correlational relationship between both variables. This quantitative correlational study involved 14 students of class XI Science recruited through a total saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a 25-item Likert scale questionnaire assessing five dimensions of emotional regulation and a validated achievement test, which were subsequently examined using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Pearson Product Moment correlation, and t-test via SPSS version 25. The findings demonstrated that both students' emotion-management capabilities and their academic achievements were categorized as good, exhibiting a remarkably strong and statistically significant positive association. Consequently, the rejection of the null hypothesis confirms that higher proficiency in regulating affective states directly corresponds to superior comprehension and academic mastery of acid-base concepts.

The impact of agile practices on communication in software development

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.

What AI gets wrong and what failure teaches us

Jennifer Neville did not want to go into computer science—but that’s exactly where she landed. Neville discusses the starts and stops that led to her professional sweet spot and her work identifying “surprising failures” making it hard for AI to handle complexity.  The post What AI gets wrong and what failure teaches us appeared first on Microsoft Research.
