Abstract

Surya Durian Medan is a micro, small, and medium enterprise engaged in durian sales and durian derivative product management. Its operational activities include receiving durian from suppliers, storing products in the warehouse, distributing products to sales stalls, processing durian into peeled durian and durian flesh, and recording sales transactions. These activities require an integrated information system to reduce stock discrepancies, improve reporting speed, and support product traceability. This study aims to design a web-based durian sales and warehouse information system for Surya Durian Medan. The research method used is descriptive, with data collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. The software development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), while the system modeling uses Unified Modeling Language (UML). The proposed system includes user management, supplier data, item data, stock receipt, stock distribution, product conversion, sales transaction, stock report, and sales report modules. The result of this study is a web-based information system design that supports centralized stock recording, faster report preparation, and easier monitoring of warehouse and sales activities. The proposed system is expected to improve data accuracy, reduce manual recording errors, and support decision-making for Surya Durian Medan.
