Abstract
Abstract / Description This appendix to the Free Body Rotation Model (FBR) examines the kinematic and thermodynamic implications of sign-reversing the radial phase velocity (\bm{v_r \to -v_r}) within a topologically protected 2:1 phase lock. By inverting the radial gradient, the model converts an internal confining stress into an outward dynamic pressure load (\bm{P = \frac{1}{2} \rho_{\text{phase}} v_r^2}) capable of balancing gravitational weight (\bm{Mg}) over a specified bearing area \bm{A}. This document explicitly defines the operational boundaries, physical requirements, and mathematical scaling of the inverted lock: Non-Metric Framework: The construction does not modify the gravitational constant \bm{G}, alter spacetime curvature, or imply negative inertial mass. Weight remains Newtonian (\bm{Mg}), balanced by an opposing surface force delivered through the phase medium. Kinematic Thresholds: For a reference \bm{10,000\text{ kg}} body on a \bm{10\text{ m}^2} bearing section in a water-like condensate (\bm{\rho = 1,000\text{ kg/m}^3}), vertical equilibrium (\bm{PA = Mg}) requires a classical radial stream velocity of \bm{v_r \approx 4.43\text{ m/s}}. Required stream velocity scales directly with section loading (\bm{v_r \propto \sqrt{M/A}}). Energy & Maintenance: Phase-profile inversion represents a one-time topological configuration cost scaling with system dimensions (\bm{\Delta E \sim 2 R_{\text{ship}}} in native phase units; \bm{\approx 10^5\text{--}10^6\text{ J}} for reference dimensions). Continuous power draw is topologically \bm{P_{\text{maintain}} = 0}, limited only by boundary phase diffusion/leakage. Materials Condition: To preserve the protected \bm{2:1} winding against thermal unwinding at room temperature (\bm{300\text{ K}}), candidate phase media must maintain an energy gap \gtrsim 26\text{ meV}. Postulate Boundaries: Net lift requires an explicit external reaction seat (coupling to an ambient phase bath or external inertial frame) to satisfy momentum conservation. This text provides the formal derivations, parameter tables, and scaling laws governing the mechanism, framing the remaining challenges strictly as condensed-matter search parameters and actuation problems.
The results are packaged in the Greenfield Startup Model (GSM), which explains the priority of startups to release the product as quickly as possible, and the need to shorten time-to-market, by speeding up the development through low-precision engineering activities.
