CausalNHANES: Automated Benchmark for Evaluating Large Language Models' Causal Reasoning on Real Epidemiological Data — Anonymized Replication Package (10 Models)

Oct 2026 · Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research)

Abstract

Replication package for the CausalNHANES benchmark (v8, ten models): source code, scenario configurations, evaluation scripts, all model outputs (formal experiment, 698 scenario-model pairs; negative-control repeat runs x5, 500 planned calls; English-prompt comparison, 96 calls; temporal-stability rerun seven weeks later, 90 calls; sampling-variance analysis), scoring results, anchor-validation audits, and API version logs. Prepared for anonymous peer review; model and provider identifiers are pseudonymized (e.g., llm-k26) and will be de-anonymized upon acceptance. NHANES raw data are not redistributed (see README for CDC download instructions). All API keys removed.
