In practice-based disciplines, generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) is gradually transforming creative learning settings. This embedded mixed-methods study explores how GenAI is viewed, negotiated, and integrated across creative learning activities using film education as a sample case. The study integrates quantitative and qualitative content analysis based on 1,093 survey responses from students, instructors, industry practitioners, and AI engineers. Three main trends emerge from the findings: a cognition-practice gap between awareness and actual use; ongoing pedagogical conflicts about creativity, authorship, and ethical responsibility; and a move away from tool-based use and toward ecosystem-oriented expectations for interactive and collaborative learning. The study conceptualises GenAI as a sociotechnical infrastructure that reconfigures human-AI collaboration, creative workflows, and pedagogical interaction in creative learning environments, with film education providing the empirical context, rather than framing it only as an instructional technology. By offering an affordance-tension viewpoint for comprehending the negotiated integration of AI in creative learning settings, the paper adds to the ongoing discussions on the future of generative AI in education.
GAOKAO-Bench is introduced, an intuitive benchmark that employs questions from the Chinese GAOKAO examination as test samples, including both subjective and objective questions that contribute a robust evaluation benchmark for future large language models and offers valuable insights into the advantages and limitations...

This work proposes a HALO that directly maximizes the utility of generations instead of maximizing the log-likelihood of preferences, and suggests that the best loss depends on the inductive biases most appropriate for a given setting, an oft-overlooked consideration.
This work investigates the possibilities of using LLMs in a resume screening setting via a document retrieval framework that simulates job candidate selection and finds that the MTEs are biased, significantly favoring White-associated names in 85% of cases and female-associated names in only 11.1% of cases.
This work shows that orders of magnitude enhancement in performance could be obtained by a combination of hardware improvements and tight quantum-HPC integration and introduces high-performance architectures for quantum-probabilistic computing with custom-designed accelerators to tackle today's industry-scale classical...
