Abstract

Highlights • This study revealed that cells with high LIM scores were predominantly fibroblasts.• A risk model constructed from nine LIM domain family signature genes (CRYAB, RGS16, CSRP2, RCAN2, TPM1, EGFL7, PLS3, PDGFRA, and PLAU) accurately predicted the prognosis of CRC patients.• Erlotinib, fulvestrant, EPZ5676, and AZD1208 were identified as potential therapeutic agents for patients in the low-LIMRS group, whereas vinblastine, docetaxel, paclitaxel, and vinorelbine may be more suitable for high-LIMRS group patients.
