Efficient production of recombinant human serum albumin in Escherichia coli via oxidative folding mediated by the a domain of protein disulfide isomerase.

It is demonstrated that PDI(a)-mediated cis-fusion enables high-yield production of structurally native-like and functionally competent HSA in the bacterial cytosol and provides a practical platform for producing complex disulfide-rich proteins in E. coli.

Rapid selection of high-affinity DARPins using click display.

Rapid and scalable protein binder discovery platforms are essential for accelerating therapeutic and diagnostic development. Click display is a cell-free protein display technology that covalently links nascent proteins to their encoding cDNA in a one-pot reaction within 2 hours, enabling rapid in vitro selection. Alth...

Construction of red-spotted grouper nervous necrosis virus (RGNNV) nonstructural protein B1/B2 mutant strains and dynamics during infection.

A plasmid-based reverse genetics system was established for red-spotted grouper nervous necrosis virus, and codon mutations on B1 and B2 proteins were introduced, and all mutated codons had been reverted to the original sequence.

Bispecific antibodies that engage pIgR enrich in mucosa in cynomolgus monkeys.

It is shown that pIgR-targeted bispecific antibodies rapidly deplete from serum, while enriching 5-10-fold in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid compared to normal IgG antibodies, which support the use of anti-pIgR bispecific antibodies to treat diseases requiring targeting in mucosal areas.

Optimization of PEI-mediated transient transfection for antibody production in Expi293F cells by iron ion supplementation

Preliminary evidence is provided for establishing an efficient transient expression platform while offering initial mechanistic insights into how iron ions influence PEI-mediated transfection via complex morphology and transcriptional regulation.

Association of P-selectin Gene SNPs and Haplotypes with Abortion Risk in Cattle

Selectin plays a crucial role in the form of a key molecular mediators for feto-maternal communication during pregnancy. Particularly, P-selectin is an adhesion molecule expressed predominantly on activated endothelial cells and platelets is also widely recognized for its role in leukocyte recruitment during inflammati...

Transportation Stress and Adaptation in Sheep: Physiological to Molecular Responses

Transportation exposes sheep to physical, physiological, and psychological stressors—such as loading, vehicle movement, confinement, social mixing, feed/water deprivation, and thermal extremes. These factors disrupt homeostasis, triggering the sympathetic–adrenomedullary system and the hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal ax...

Role of Antioxidants in Bovine and Buffalo Oocyte Maturation: From Redox Homeostasis to Developmental Competence

INTRODUCTION: Bovine (Bos taurus and Bos indicus) and buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) are economically important livestock species and major contributors to milk and meat production. Assisted reproductive technologies, particularly in vitro embryo production (IVEP), provide important opportunities for the rapid multiplicatio...
