Abstract

MATHEMATICAL MATERIALITY (NUMERI) Physics from a different starting point Ugo Lanciano | Deposit 2.27 | English presentation - version 6 MM invites readers to explore a possibility: space, time and mass could arise from more elementary relationships. The challenge is to follow this hypothesis through to its verifiable consequences. In everyday experience, we imagine objects occupying places and changing over time. MM starts instead from a discrete network: links, counts and updates. From this basis, it seeks to reconstruct the quantities through which we describe the physical world. This is the starting point adopted by the program. What “observer” means In the model, the observer is a descriptive mechanism: a set of rules that selects, groups and compares relationships in the network. The name Mdc Sapiens denotes the human reference frame in the author’s interpretation. The connection between these rules and human perception remains an assumed interpretation. Not a simulationNUMERI does not posit a “higher-level computer” or a base universe running our reality, and introduces no hardware/software dualism. Within the model’s adopted ontology, the discrete relational network is the materiality of the universe itself, not the abstraction of a program: this is the meaning of Mathematical Materiality. Space and time do not pre-exist observation at any ontological level; no external spacetime is therefore postulated to host a simulating machine. Three levels to guide the reader VERIFIED Identities and calculations that can be checked. The code allows the checks to be repeated. ARGUED Structural steps to be assessed by examining their premises and reasoning. ASSUMED Declared postulates: the assumptions on which part of the construction depends. Readers can therefore assess a mathematical identity without accepting the entire hypothesis about the world. The proposed starting point remains subject to the distinction between what is constructed, what is proved and what still needs an explanation. Scientific curiosity has a concrete task here: to follow different premises through to their verifiable consequences. THE MAIN IDEAS Waves, paths and rulesof observation A reading of the 2.27 results that does not begin with formulas From counts to waves Counting how many relationships involve a node is not enough to describe an oriented oscillation. Phase 2.25 identified this obstruction. The step studied in 2.27 assigns a flux variable to the links: alongside quantity, this introduces a structure capable of carrying direction and transport. Under the stated assumptions, the model verifies Maxwell-type equations and two polarizations: two independent possibilities for oscillation transverse to propagation. A massless front and the angular distribution of magnetic-dipole radiation are also checked in the sector studied. The physical connection uses covariance assumptions and a prescribed metric. How a history becomes a trajectory A “history” is a possible sequence of updates between two configurations. A “filter” specifies which histories the reference frame groups into the same reading channel. Filter A distinguishes minimal histories from deviating ones; Filter B mixes them between the same endpoints. In the families examined, Filter A can make the class of minimal paths prevail when the deviating contributions cancel. The tests also construct type-B filters compatible with transport symmetries, the energy balance studied and finite capacity. These conditions do not require the choice of Filter A: the model retains it as an observer postulate. A path leaves a trace Two paths with the same endpoints form a circuit. Transport around that circuit carries information called holonomy. This helps explain why the background field can preserve or alter cancellation between two contributions of opposite sign. In the families studied, macroscopic suppression is guaranteed when almost all deviating paths are paired with contributions of opposite sign, the transport differences within pairs tend to zero and the magnitude of the minimal contribution stays above a fixed positive threshold. This is a sufficient condition: it guarantees the effect in the cases examined without describing every possible cancellation. Here, “relational decoherence” denotes this specific suppression. A counterexample that clarifies the limit. With a test background introducing a sign of -1 on each elementary face, the spin sign is compensated. Deviating contributions remain coherent even with Filter A. Background transport is therefore part of the conditions that must be checked. THE DEPOSIT AND ITS SCOPE Verifiable results,clearly stated questions The package records 971 reproducible checks: 434 from the original program and 537 from the bridge on filters. This counts implemented checks, not an equal number of independent theorems or experimental confirmations. Some successful checks establish a counterexample to a proposed claim. AREA AND CHECKS RESULT AND CONDITIONS 2.27 - Waves61/61 Sealed within the stated scope. Vector transport, the plaquette action and Maxwell’s equations are verified under the module’s assumptions. 2.26 - Quantization92/92 Full derivation remains open. Cancellation of paired contributions is verified. The physical unit of action remains empirical; the necessary selection of the minimum is not derived. 2.28 - Scales80/80 Calibrated model. The projection can saturate. The 30-parsec plateau is assigned: finite capacity alone does not determine its value. 2.29 - Spin166/166 Conditional algebraic closure. The Clifford algebra and spin-1/2 representation are constructed under the adopted postulates. The physical selection of spin remains open. 2.30 - Assembly35/35 Modular seal. The combinatorial kernel is validated. Its connections to dynamics, the transverse sector and physical units of measurement remain open. What the modular seal means The seal concerns the mathematical kernel under the stated conditions. Full physical unification still requires the laws of geometry and the connection between gravity, matter and electromagnetism to be constructed.
