Abstract

We study extremizers for a trilinear Stein-Weiss inequality on $\mathbb{R}^n$. Within the known boundedness region, we prove attainment under two additional assumptions: all six weight exponents are nonnegative, and at least one pair of Lebesgue exponents is admissible. The proof combines symmetric decreasing rearrangement with a logarithmic radial reduction to a translation-invariant bilinear operator on $\mathbb{R}$ whose kernel belongs to $L^1\left(\mathbb{R}^2\right)$. A common-scale compactness argument rules out relative separation of the two arguments and yields norm attainment. We then derive the Euler-Lagrange system. In the fully symmetric case, every normalized nonnegative extremizing triple is diagonal. Finally, we establish the origin-centered Kelvin invariance of the resulting scalar equation at the scaling exponent and record the unweighted conformal example.

Sharp Spectral Bounds for Symmetric Positive Definite Tensors via Multiple Algebraic Invariants

We extend the trace--determinant framework of Nayak, Sharma, and Mishra~\cite{nayak2026} for bounding the H-eigenvalues of symmetric positive definite tensors. First, we replace the Arithmetic--Geometric Mean (AM--GM) relaxation underlying previous bounds by the exact solution of the associated constrained optimization problem, yielding sharp upper and lower bounds that are attained on the admissible spectral variety. Second, we incorporate higher-order power sums as additional spectral invariants and prove a structural theorem showing that any extremizer over a $K$-invariant feasibility region has at most $K$ distinct spectral values. This reduces the problem to a finite collection of low-dimensional polynomial systems and yields a hierarchy of increasingly tight bounds. For the four-invariant case $(T,S,p_3,D)$, we develop a complete theory including solution-count estimates, a multistart Newton algorithm, and sharpness conditions. We also derive closed-form bounds in small dimensions, establish perturbation estimates, and obtain refined Lyapunov region-of-attraction bounds. Numerical experiments for dimensions up to $d=100$ show that the sharp three-invariant bound reduces the median relative overestimation gap from $53\%$ to $6\%$ while maintaining low computational cost. The framework is validated on tensors with real H-spectrum.

An isoperimetric inequality for Neumann eigenvalues with radial log-concave measures

We prove a sharp isoperimetric inequality for the harmonic mean of the first $n$ nonzero Neumann eigenvalues of the Witten-Laplacian on origin-symmetric Lipschitz domains in space forms, endowed with radial log-concave measures. The main novelty is that we establish the sharp harmonic mean inequality under general radial log-concave measures, without assuming the weight function to be non-increasing. This extends previous results that were restricted to specific or more restrictive weighted settings. The proof relies on a refined analysis of the first eigenfunction on geodesic balls, a monotonicity property derived from a convexity condition on the radial weight, and a matrix trace inequality.

Sharp rigidity for quasilinear Liouville equation on manifolds with nonnegative Ricci curvature

We study the quasilinear Liouville equation \[ -\Delta_n u=e^u \] on complete noncompact Riemannian manifolds with nonnegative Ricci curvature. Our first result shows that, if a solution $u$ satisfies the optimal logarithmic lower bound \[ u(x)\ge -\frac{n^2}{n-1}\log r(x)+o(\log r(x)) \quad \text{as }r(x)\to+\infty, \] then the underlying manifold is isometric to the Euclidean space and $u$ is a standard bubble solution. Both the leading coefficient and the remainder term in the assumption are sharp. The key ingredient in the proof is the connection between the logarithmic lower bound and a sharp upper bound on the total volume of the solution. We also formulate a conjecture concerning the interaction between the sub-logarithmic decay of solutions and the underlying geometry, and prove it for $n=2$, as well as for $n\ge 3$ under a strengthened assumption.

Rigidity for spin fill-ins with scalar curvature bounded from below

We establish the rigidity statement in the equality case of the hyperspherical-radius inequality of Brendle, Tsiamis, and Wang for compact spin fill-ins with scalar curvature bounded below. More precisely, let $(M^{n\geq 3},g)$ be a compact, connected Riemannian spin manifold having a connected boundary $\Sigma$ and scalar curvature satisfying $\mathrm{scal}_g\geq -n(n-1)$. We prove that equality in the upper bound \[ \inf_{\Sigma}H\leq (n-1)\sqrt{1+\operatorname{Rad}(\Sigma)^{-2}} \] given by Brendle, Tsiamis, and Wang holds if and only if $(M,g)$ is isometric to a geodesic ball in hyperbolic space.

A Bernstein Theorem for the Self-Shrinking $J$-Equation and Some Generalizations

We prove that every entire smooth plurisubharmonic solution of the self-shrinking $J$-equation on $\mathbb{C}^n$ is a quadratic polynomial. This removes the asymptotic lower bound assumption on the complex Hessian in \cite[Theorem 4]{HJ}. The result also recovers the corresponding real rigidity theorem in \cite[Theorem 1.1]{HOW} as a special case. More generally, our method applies to a broad class of fully nonlinear elliptic operators satisfying suitable structural conditions, including the inverse complex Hessian quotient operators $-\sigma_{k-1}/\sigma_{k}$ for $1\leq k\leq n$.

Strict Concavity of the Torsion Function for the Restricted Half-Laplacian in Bounded Convex Domains

Let $D\subset\mathbb{R}^n$, $n\ge2$, be a bounded convex domain, and let $u_D$ be the torsion function for the restricted half-Laplacian. We prove that $D^2u_D$ is negative definite at every point of $D$. The argument is based on the reflected harmonic extension in a slit domain. Quantitative Schauder estimates in slit domains yield parameter-uniform estimates for the first and second derivatives of the edge remainder; a Schur-complement calculation then determines the inertia of the extended Hessian near the slit edge. Superharmonicity of the logarithmic Hessian determinant and the Gleason--Wolff zero-set theorem exclude interior degeneracy. A method of continuity starting from the unit ball proves the result for smooth uniformly convex domains, and an exhaustion argument treats arbitrary bounded convex domains.
