Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to analyze the contributions of Physical Education to the promotion of school inclusion, identifying the main challenges faced by teachers and the strategies that favor the effective participation of all students in pedagogical activities. The research was developed through a qualitative approach, using bibliographic research as a methodological procedure, based on the analysis of scientific literature related to Physical Education, school inclusion, and inclusive pedagogical practices. The results showed that Physical Education is an important tool for the development of socialization, cooperation, and respect for differences, contributing significantly to the building of more inclusive school environments. However, challenges related to teacher training, curricular adaptation, and the availability of adequate resources to meet students' needs were identified. It is concluded that the adoption of diversified methodologies, inclusive planning, and continuing teacher education are essential factors to ensure a broader and more meaningful participation of all students in the school context.
