Results indicate that the developed application fulfilled the defined functional requirements for supporting digital menu presentation and mobile-based food ordering.
Abstract
This study aims to develop a mobile-based digital menu and food ordering application as an alternative for presenting menu information and supporting the food ordering process. The application development was carried out through several stages, including problem identification, literature study, data collection, requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The application was developed using the Flutter framework and Dart programming language. The developed features include digital menu access through QR Code scanning, category and product detail information, shopping cart management, ordering, order confirmation, order status and history, as well as administrative functions for managing menus, categories, orders, and ordering reports. The application was tested using Black Box Testing based on the defined functional requirements. The testing results of 17 functional requirements showed that all tested functions received a Passed status, indicating that the application functions operated according to the expected outputs. These results indicate that the developed application fulfilled the defined functional requirements for supporting digital menu presentation and mobile-based food ordering.
The system is designed to support a self-ordering mechanism, allowing customers to access the menu through a QR Code without logging in, select menu items, manage their orders in a shopping cart, and submit orders.
