Abstract

The proliferation of digital health information has generated growing scholarly interest in understanding resilience within health information practices. This article examines the development of research on information resilience and introduces the concept of health information resilience using the ScoRBA method conducted in accordance with the PRISMA protocol and analyzed using the PAGER framework. A literature search was performed in the Scopus database to identify publications published between 2000 and 2025, and VOSviewer was employed to visualize the research landscape. The findings indicate that studies specifically addressing health information resilience remain limited in both scope and volume. The concept of health information resilience is conseptualized as a set of collaborative coping strategies that enable individuals to direct, adapt, and reframe their responses within the context of multiple literacies (information, digital, eHealth, etc.). This process is shaped by cultural influences (e.g., cultural norms and health beliefs) and the broader health information environment (e.g., information sources). Collectively, these factors support individuals navigate information disruptions such as disinformation, misinformation, fake news, and infodemics. This study contributes to ongoing scholarly discourse by advancing the conceptualization of health information resilience. Future research can further refine and expand this concept by employing diverse methodological ap-proaches and applying it across different populations and contexts.
