The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into higher education has significantly transformed the and learning process across the globe. Artificial intelligence technologies are increasingly being adopted in universities to enhance learning outcomes, support academic research, and improve students' academic performance. This paper examines the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing students' opinion-based academic performance in the University of Calabar, Nigeria. Using an analytical and foundations of approach artificial grounded in contemporary literature, the study explores the conceptual student learning outcomes. intelligence, its applications in higher education, and its implications for students' academic The paper argues that artificial intelligence has the capacity to improve technologies, automated performance through personalized learning systems, intelligent tutoring feedback mechanisms, and Al-assisted research tools. These innovations enable improve students the quality to access educational resources more efficiently, enhance critical thinking skills, and education also of academic research. However, the adoption of artificial intelligence in higher considerations, raises important concerns relating to academic integrity, digital inequality, ethical experiences and the risk of overdependence on automated systems. Drawing from global and the Nigerian educational context, the study concludes that artificial intelligence can significantly systems. The improve paper students' academic performance if properly integrated into institutional learning recommends that Nigerian universities should develop institutional policies invest regulating in digital the ethical infrastructure use of artificial intelligence, integrate Al literacy into academic curricula, and that supports innovative learning environments. This work proposes a HALO that directly maximizes the utility of generations instead of maximizing the log-likelihood of preferences, and suggests that the best loss depends on the inductive biases most appropriate for a given setting, an oft-overlooked consideration.
This work investigates the possibilities of using LLMs in a resume screening setting via a document retrieval framework that simulates job candidate selection and finds that the MTEs are biased, significantly favoring White-associated names in 85% of cases and female-associated names in only 11.1% of cases.
This work shows that orders of magnitude enhancement in performance could be obtained by a combination of hardware improvements and tight quantum-HPC integration and introduces high-performance architectures for quantum-probabilistic computing with custom-designed accelerators to tackle today's industry-scale classical...
