Abstract

RAS at the plasma membrane relay signals from cell-surface receptors to intracellular pathways. In Cell, Wang et al.1 show that farnesylation drives KRAS cytoplasmic condensation, contributing to its maturation. They identify statins as candidates to overcome resistance to KRAS-targeted therapies.
