Enhancing efficiency in specific applications through the use of different types of Blockchain technologies

The digital revolution and the emergence of new technologies are reshaping nearly every domain of life. The monetization of artistic forms is one of the achievements enabled by these tech-nologies. The paper proposes a conceptual model that combines blockchain-based asset tracking with a new way of representing value rooted in the artistic creative process. This approach ex-plores encoding artistic work and its results into a measurable digital value structure, fundamentally different from traditional monetary systems. The paper analyzes blockchain architectures and assesses their feasibility for supporting hybrid systems. Limitations related to oracle dependency, subjectivity of evalu-ation, and system scalability are also considered, along with the legal and ethical challenges, technical complexity, and imple-mentation costs associated with technological literacy. For the authors, this work represents an initial step toward addressing challenges in blockchain systems through optimization tech-niques supported by artificial intelligence, as well as exploring the use of this technology in building a sustainable value system.

Adoption of Blockchain for Decentralized Execution Agreements: Empirical Evidence of Usability and Acceptance

The management of Decentralized Execution Agreements (TEDs) by the Secretariat for Coordination and Governance of Federal Assets (SPU) faces transparency and traceability challenges that hinder access to contractual information. This study evaluates the integration of SPU systems with blockchain through a blockchain-based API, adapted for the management of public processes, using Celo blockchain and IPFS for immutable and auditable registration of TEDs. We conducted usability and acceptance evaluations with 15 Java developers and 10 external users of the SEI platform, applying the Think-Aloud method. The results indicated 87% success in the tasks, an average of 4.2 (1-5) for documentation clarity, 90% acceptance, and 80% agreement regarding the contribution to transparency, suggesting the importance of considering factors such as the technology learning curve and citizens’ digital familiarity when designing blockchain-based solutions for the public sector.

From Sybil to Zero-Knowledge: A Systematic Review of Blockchain Data Sharing Solutions

Blockchain technology has emerged as a transformative tool for secure data sharing across decentralised systems, particularly in finance, healthcare, and governance. However, despite its promise, the widespread adoption of blockchain platforms remains constrained by unresolved security threats and architecture-specific vulnerabilities. This paper presents a systematic literature review (SLR) that critically evaluates the security risks and countermeasures associated with blockchain-based data sharing models. The review focuses on three widely referenced platforms, Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, and MedRec, chosen for their relevance to public, permissioned, and healthcare-oriented blockchain deployments, respectively. The review analyzed 30 peer-reviewed publications from 2018 to 2025 sourced from IEEE Xplore, SpringerLink, ScienceDirect, and other digital libraries. Empirical insights from the reviewed literature indicate that Sybil attacks remain prevalent on public blockchains, although adaptive Proof-of-Stake protocols are reported to reduce their success rate considerably. Front-running and Miner Extractable Value–related behaviors are frequently observed in Ethereum-based decentralised finance ecosystems, often resulting in significant financial losses. Unauthorised access persists as a major concern, particularly for software wallets, which are commonly exposed to phishing and malware attacks. The findings underscore unique trade-offs across platforms: Ethereum supports transparency but is prone to transaction manipulation; Hyperledger ensures strong access control yet faces insider threat challenges; and MedRec enhances patient privacy but lacks robust mobile integration. This study provides a structured synthesis of existing threats, platform-level responses, and design trade-offs, offering guidance for stakeholders aiming to strengthen security in blockchain-based data-sharing infrastructures.
