Abstract
A non-linear fractional-order mathematical model describing the transmission dynamics of Ebola
virus disease is developed. The model consists of a system of fourteen non-linear fractional
differential equations of order 𝛼. The non-negativity of solutions is established, demonstrating that
the model is biologically meaningful and mathematically well-posed. The disease-free equilibrium
points are derived, and their stability properties are investigated through the construction of
appropriate Lyapunov functions. The results show that the disease-free equilibrium points are both
locally and globally asymptotically stable. Numerical simulations are performed to illustrate the
theoretical results and to further examine the dynamical behavior of the model.
In this work, we formulate a nonlinear system of differential equations that models the transmission dynamics of dengue fever. The model exhibits the classical threshold behavior. We prove that when the basic reproduction number is less than one, the disease-free equilibrium is locally and globally asymptotically stabl...

Ebola virus disease is a highly infectious and life-threatening illness that poses a major public
health challenge. In this study, a fractional-order Ebola virus transmission model is developed to
describe the spread of the disease within a population. The model uses fractional differential
equations to incorporate...

This paper presents a non-linear fractional-order mathematical model for the transmission
dynamics of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD), incorporating key control measures such as quarantine,
vaccination, and condom use. The model employs fractional calculus to account for memory effects
in disease progression and divides t...

This paper proposes a new epidemic transmission model based on the tempered Caputo fractional derivative, providing a novel framework for infectious disease dynamics that combines both biological accuracy and computational robustness. Theoretically, we rigorously prove the positivity and boundedness of model solutions...
A modified mathematical model for the transmission dynamics of a two-strain dengue infection in a population is designed and vividly analysed. The model incorporates vector control measures such as good environmental sanitation and use of mosquito treated nets to reduce mosquito density and bite respectively. Also inco...
