Uso de las TIC como estrategia psicopedagógica para fortalecer el aprendizaje significativo en estudiantes
Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as a psycho-pedagogical strategy to strengthen meaningful learning among students at a public institution in Ecuador. The research employed a quantitative approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design and a descriptive-correlational scope. The sample consisted of 100 students from the intermediate and upper levels of General Basic Education and the Unified General Baccalaureate. Data collection was carried out using a structured questionnaire with a Likert-type scale, addressing dimensions related to the educational use of ICT and meaningful learning. The results revealed a favorable assessment of technological tools, particularly regarding their contribution to content comprehension, motivation, participation, and knowledge construction. It is concluded that ICT can serve as a relevant psycho-pedagogical strategy when integrated through intentional pedagogical planning, thereby fostering educational experiences that are more dynamic, participatory, and focused on strengthening meaningful learning across different educational levels.
