TL;DR
The case of a 78-y-old man with previously treated high-risk PCa who developed biochemical recurrence is presented, where [68Ga]Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT demonstrated tumor spread along sacral nerve roots and the sciatic nerve, suggestive of perineural invasion.
Abstract
Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most common cancer and third leading cause of mortality in males. Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is a transmembrane protein that is overexpressed by 100- to 1000-fold in PCa. [68Ga]Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT plays an important role in the staging, restaging, and surveillance of PCa. We present the case of a 78-y-old man with previously treated high-risk PCa who developed biochemical recurrence, where [68Ga]Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT demonstrated tumor spread along sacral nerve roots and the sciatic nerve, suggestive of perineural invasion.
Abstract Objectives Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men and a leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide. Accurate staging is essential for effective treatment. The use of gallium-68 ( 68 Ga)-prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT), a...

A 67-year-old man with rising PSA and palpable prostate lesion underwent prostate MRI, which showed a large PI-RADS 5 lesion confirmed on biopsy as Gleason score 9 (4+5), grade group 5, prostate cancer. 18F-DCFPyL PET/CT scan for initial stage showed no significant PSMA avidity in the prostate lesion. 18F-fluciclovine...

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE
Prostate-specific membrane-antigen positron emission tomography (PSMA-PET) detects distant metastases in more than half of patients with increasing prostate-specific antigen despite castrate levels of testosterone and high-risk nonmetastatic disease on conventional imaging. Here, we aim to eval...

A 62-year-old man with newly diagnosed prostate adenocarcinoma underwent initial staging with 99mTc-PSMA and 99mTc-MDP whole-body scans. The bone scan revealed a small zone of tracer activity superior to the left kidney. Subsequent 99mTc-PSMA SPECT/CT revealed a fluid density collection in the left perinephric and para...
