This study aims to design and implement a web-based sweet food sales system using the Laravel framework, featuring dynamic menu customization (such as adjustments for size, sweetness level, and topping variants), and the expected outcome is an integrated E-Commerce platform capable of automating custom price calculations in real-time.
Abstract
The rapid advancement of information technology has driven digital transformation across various business sectors, including the culinary Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) industry. However, the majority of sweet food culinary businesses, such as Mirai Coffee and Snack, still rely on social media and manual instant messaging for transactions. Surveys indicate that 60% of customers encounter issues with slow response times and incorrect custom order recordings, resulting in 3 to 5 order errors per month due to human error. This study aims to design and implement a web-based sweet food sales system using the Laravel framework, featuring dynamic menu customization (such as adjustments for size, sweetness level, and topping variants). The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which includes requirements analysis, database design, code Implementation (PHP, MySQL), and Testing. The expected outcome is an integrated E-Commerce platform capable of automating custom price calculations in real-time, minimizing data entry errors, and systematically improving operational service efficiency from 10–15 minutes to instantaneous.
The implementation results indicate that the developed system effectively improves customer data management, accelerates bill verification and payment processing, and minimizes the risk of recording errors and data loss at Zayan Hanan.Net.

Advancements in information technology encourage MSMEs to utilize information systems to enhance the effectiveness of their business management. Es Teh Arjuna, an MSME in Tegal City, faces challenges in monitoring partner sales and managing revenue because transactions are recorded manually using disparate methods; this results in slow data recapitulation, a risk of recording errors, and difficulty for the business owner in quickly accessing sales information. This study aims to analyze requirements, design, develop, and test a web-based information system for partner sales and revenue that provides information in real-time. The Waterfall model was used for system development, while data collection involved observation, interviews, and a literature review. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL and tested via Black Box Testing. The results demonstrate that the system successfully integrates sales data from all outlets into a centralized database, streamlining the management of products, outlets, employees, cashiers, and sales transactions, as well as facilitating the generation of revenue reports for specific periods. Furthermore, the system enables the business owner to monitor sales performance more quickly, accurately, and systematically, thereby supporting decision-making and improving the operational efficiency of Es Teh Arjuna
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises such as E-Donuts face challenges in daily operational management, sales recording, packaging and donut stock management, and employee payroll because they still rely on manual processes. This study aims to design and implement EdoBest, a web-based operational management and payroll application developed using the Waterfall model. The development process includes planning, requirement analysis through interviews and observation, UML-based system design and responsive interface design, implementation using Laravel 12 and MySQL, black-box testing, and maintenance. The novelty of EdoBest lies in the integration of culinary MSME operational modules into a single system, including delivery batch management, multi-outlet management, packaging and donut stock management, employee activity recording, cash advance management, report validation, and automatic payroll calculation based on daily operational data. The quantitative testing results show that 16 functional test scenarios, consisting of 10 Admin scenarios and 6 Employee scenarios, were successfully executed with a 100% success rate. This research contributes a functionally tested design and implementation of an integrated information system that improves recording accuracy, reporting efficiency, real-time monitoring, and decision-making support for multi-outlet culinary MSMEs.

This study applies the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method to determine the best ranking of Senior High Schools in South Jakarta. The aim of this research is to develop a web-based decision support system that assists the school assessment process in an objective, measurable, and transparent manner. The TOPSIS method was chosen because it can compare each alternative based on its distance to the positive and negative ideal solutions, resulting in more accurate rankings. The criteria used include the UTBK score, school accreditation, teacher-to-student ratio, and transportation access. The data were processed through the stages of decision matrix construction, normalization, weighting, positive and negative ideal solution determination, distance calculation, and preference value determination to produce the best ranking results. The system was built using PHP and MySQL and was tested using Black Box and White Box testing. The results show that the application of the TOPSIS method provides consistent calculations aligned with the assessment criteria, with alternative A2 obtaining the highest preference value of 0.820. The developed system can clearly and easily display ranking results while minimizing subjectivity in decision-making, so it can serve as an effective tool in evaluating the quality of education in South Jakarta.
