Whole-genome sequencing of Lactobacillus helveticus HP-B1137 and its biotransformation capacity toward calycosin-7-O-β-D-glucoside

Astragalus , as a traditional tonic herb, has alycosin-7-O-β-D-glucoside as one of its main active components. In this study, a strain of Lactobacillus helveticus HP-B1137 was isolated from raw milk in Mudan District, Heze City, Shandong Province. The probiotic properties, and ability to biotransfor...

Phenyl- O -β- d -ribofuranoside Derivatives from the Plant Endophytic Fungus Neofusicoccum sp. LZUC-S1 and Their Herbicidal Activity

Seven novel phenyl-O-β-d-ribofuranoside derivatives (1–7), along with four known naphthalenones (8–11), were isolated from the endophytic fungus Neofusicoccum sp. LZUC-S1 using a bioactivity-guided isolation. Their chemical structures were elucidated through an integrated analysis of IR, NMR, and HRESIMS data, and ve...

Design and In Silico Evaluation of Novel 1,3,4-Oxadiazole Derivatives as Potential CYP51B Inhibitors Against Aspergillus fumigatus

Antifungal resistance and invasive fungal infections remain the major therapeutic issues, especially in patients with impaired immune systems. Aspergillus fumigatus is the main cause of invasive aspergillosis and sterol 14-α-demethylase (CYP51B), a key enzyme in the biosynthetic pathway of ergosterol, is an important t...

Ansacarbamitocin B and D isolated from Amycolatopsis sp. FID23-7-18 associated to the fungus-growing ant Mycetomoellerius mikromelanos.

Ansacarbamitocin B (1) and D (2) were identified as major compounds from ISP-2 agar culture of Amycolatopsis sp. FID23-7-18, isolated from the exoskeleton of Mycetomoellerius mikromelanos worker ants. Elucidation of their structures was accomplished using 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy and MS data. Compounds 1 and 2 showed...
