CircuitTree: Composing Circuits into A Syllable Transcriber

A greedy, density-scaled composition algorithm is proposed that overcomes limitations of previous attempts to compose circuits by naive union, then generalize it to $N$ circuits via CircuitTree, a new data structure built on a $\Theta(N\log N)$ tree-compose schedule.

Energy-Efficient Spiking Neural Networks for Sensing-Aided Beam Prediction

Sensing-aided beam prediction can reduce the beam-training overhead of millimeter-wave (mmWave) systems by leveraging environmental information from complementary modalities such as vision and position. However, the resulting sensing and inference pipeline can be energy-intensive, motivating the use of energy-efficient...

Kairos: Toward a Byte-Level Foundation Model for Every Modality

Small language models trained on a single local machine leave little room for architectural trial and error. Kairos combines bidirectional gated-DeltaNet linear attention and sliding-window attention over shared projections (LiZAttention2), block-wise Attention-Residual aggregation, a sparse Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) fe...

Imagine the Future, Internalize the Gist: Efficient VLA Reasoning via Internalized Spatiotemporal Imagination

Vision-language-action (VLA) models increasingly incorporate intermediate reasoning to improve robotic manipulation, yet existing approaches primarily reason about observed states without explicitly anticipating future scene evolution. Extending such reasoning to explicit future rollouts at every inference step, howeve...

Can Language Models Play the Wikipedia Game?

Language models increasingly support or automate information retrieval from document collections too large to index. This task is difficult when it requires specialist linguistic or scientific knowledge. We used the Wikipedia Game to test language models on an analogous information retrieval task. In the game, players...

RATED: Reliability-Aware AI Agent Tool Retrieval via Execution Dynamics

As AI agents increasingly rely on external tools, accurate retrieval is essential for reliable behavior. Existing methods optimize semantic relevance but largely ignore tool availability during execution. To address this gap, we propose RATED (Reliability-Aware Tool Retrieval via Execution Dynamics), a retrieval framew...

X-AgentRed: Red-Teaming Personal Agents in Evolving Multi-Service Ecosystems

Personal agents increasingly connect to services across the web and applications by using tools. As the effects of their actions accumulate and interact across services, unintended or harmful outcomes can arise when agents fulfill benign user requests. Proactively identifying these compositional failures requires syste...

Studying Comics at Scale with Artificial Intelligence: The PAGE Framework and Three Studies of American Comics and Japanese Manga

Comics are one of the great visual records of the twentieth century: hundreds of thousands of pages in which a mass readership saw its leaders, its wars and its heroes. Most of this record has never been studied as a whole; comics scholarship proceeds one book at a time. We argue that artificial intelligence, including...

UkrMeme: Multimodal Explainable Persuasion Detection in Ukrainian Memes

Memes play a central role in modern online communication, especially in contexts of political conflict where visual and textual cues combine to convey persuasive messages. We study persuasive technique detection in Ukrainian memes using vision-language models (VLMs). We introduce UkrMeme, a dataset of 200 organically p...

A Privileged Teacher That Only Scores Cannot Search: Critique-Conditioned On-Policy Self-Distillation for Reasoning

On-policy self-distillation promises to replace the sparse outcome signal of verifiable-reward RL with dense token-level credit: a teacher conditioned on the reference solution scores the student's own rollout, and the resulting distributional shift is distilled back into the policy. We investigate whether this scoring...

Adaptive DHiSparse: Speculative Decoding over a Load-Adaptive KV Hierarchy

Long-context serving runs out of KV memory before the hardware reaches its useful throughput. HiSparse stores history in host memory and fetches only the selected entries, but it uses one cache budget at every load and does not handle draft-model speculative decoding such as DSpark and DFlash2. We present Adaptive DHiS...

A Baseline Assessment for the Agentic Web Technology Stack

The fast pace in which protocols, frameworks, and technologies are being proposed for LLM-based agents results in a complex scenario for anyone aiming to create state-of-the-art AI solutions. Without an assessment on how different protocols, frameworks, and libraries work together to compose an Agentic Web solution, de...
