Lymph Node Regression Improves Prognostic Stratification in Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma Receiving Neoadjuvant Chemoimmunotherapy: A Multicenter Retrospective Cohort Study

ABSTRACT Lymph nodes (LNs), principal sites of antitumor immunity, may undergo immune‐mediated regression; whether neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy (NCIT)‐induced regression indicates prognosis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) remains unclear. We aimed to establish and validate a lymph node regression grade (...

Upfront or deferred radiotherapy combined with chemoimmunotherapy for inoperable oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma: a target trial emulation in China

Summary Background Radiotherapy (RT) is a curative treatment modality for inoperable oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). However, for patients with ESCC receiving first-line chemoimmunotherapy (CIT), the appropriate sequence of RT relative to CIT remains unclear. Methods This multicentre retrospective cohort st...

A real-world multicenter study on postoperative adjuvant treatment patterns and prognostic implications following neoadjuvant immunochemotherapy for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma

For ESCC patients receiving nICT, postoperative adjuvant treatment can provide survival benefits, particularly more pronounced in non-pCR patients and those with advanced postoperative pathological stages, particularly more pronounced in non-pCR patients and those with advanced postoperative pathological stages.

Dynamic iterative coarse-to-fine prompt learning based on SAM for precise esophageal cancer gross target volume segmentation

Experimental results show that this segmentation method based on SAM achieves better segmentation performance than existing single-pass methods on both internal and external validation sets, and can provide a reliable efficient scheme for the formulation of precise radiotherapy plans for esophageal cancer.

CTPS1 promotes lung adenocarcinoma progression as a targetable vulnerability.

Targeting CTPS1 with STP938, alone or in combination with osimertinib, represents a promising therapeutic strategy and supports CTPS1 as a targetable vulnerability in lung adenocarcinoma.

MGTP-Seg: a mask guidance and text prompting network for gross tumor volume segmentation in esophageal cancer radiotherapy

This work demonstrates that MGTP-Seg not only provides an accurate, interpretable, and clinically relevant solution for automatic GTV delineation, but also offers a novel methodological framework to fuse spatial priors with semantic knowledge in medical image analysis.
