Profiling NFκB and VEGF Expression in Mouse Embryonic Stem Cells, Lung Cancer Cells, and Fibroblasts.

Cancer is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide, with lung cancer ranked among the most lethal malignancies. A key hallmark of cancer progression is neovascularization, primarily mediated by vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), which stimulates vasculogenesis and angiogenesis. In parallel...

Effects of a Benzimidazolium Salt on Colorectal Cancer Cells: Involvement of Apoptosis and Autophagy

Colorectal cancer (CRC) remains a leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide, necessitating the identification of novel small molecules capable of targeting multiple survival pathways. In this study, the antiproliferative potential of dds benzimidazole-palladium (Pd) complexes was evaluated across breast cance...

Indole-benzimidazole hybrids modulate lipid metabolism and promote autophagic and apoptotic signaling in breast cancer.

The findings demonstrate that indole-benzimidazole hybrids function as multifunctional modulators of breast cancer cell metabolism by coordinately targeting lipid homeostasis, sphingolipid-associated signaling, autophagic regulation, and apoptosis.
