The proposed AL-BFT protocol reduces transaction latency and improves throughput while maintaining the fault tolerance level of traditional Byzantine Fault Tolerance-based approaches, and confirms improved efficiency compared to classical leader-based consensus mechanisms, particularly in small permissioned blockchain networks.
