ANZTCT cytomegalovirus practice survey for allogeneic haemopoietic stem cell transplant and cellular therapy recipients in Australia and New Zealand.

BACKGROUND Despite pre-emptive treatment (PeT), cytomegalovirus (CMV) disease and reactivation remain a clinical concern. In Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), variability exists in the management of CMV for haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) recipients. AIMS AND METHODS To understand the state of practice...

Immune cell subsets that predict cytomegalovirus reactivation magnitude after haematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

A 21-parameter spectral cytometry antibody panel is developed to characterise peripheral blood mononuclear cells from adult allogeneic HSCT-recipients at four timepoints over the course of HCMV reactivation, including before and at initial detection of HCMV DNAemia.

Prime editing enables drug-controllable T-cell therapies with clinical immunosuppression.

A multiplex prime-editing platform is developed that converts commonly used immunosuppressive drugs into tools for in vivo control of T-cell therapies via defined, pathway-specific drug resistance, enabling selective in vivo modulation in settings where immunosuppression cannot be withdrawn.
