Second Kashvi Tosha Gamma Stress Index of Graphs and Its QSPR Applications to Lower Alkanes
Abstract
Shimbel (1953) introduced the node centrality index, which measures the stress of a vertex. The stress of a graph is the number of geodesics (shortest paths) that pass through each vertex. A number that connects a chemical structure to physical properties or chemical reactivity is known as a topological index of the chemical structure. In this paper, we present The Second Kashvi-Tosha gamma stress index $SKT(G)$, a novel topological index for graphs based on vertex stresses. In addition, we compute The Second Kashvi-Tosha gamma stress index for a few standard graphs, demonstrate a few results, and establish a few inequalities. Similarly, we established the importance of The Second Kashvi-Tosha gamma stress index in predicting the physicochemical properties of lower alkanes.
