Full-Stack Backend Development with Java, MongoDB, and AWS
Abstract
The growing reliance on cloud-based applications has underscored the necessity for backend systems capable of adapting to fluctuating workloads while ensuring constant performance and stability. Numerous traditional backend solutions encounter challenges in managing fast traffic escalation, adapting data architectures, and facilitating effective deployment in remote settings. This research presents a cloud-centric backend architecture developed with Java, MongoDB, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to tackle these issues. The platform integrates Java Spring Boot for service development, MongoDB for adaptable document-oriented data management, and AWS for infrastructure provisioning, load balancing, monitoring, and automated resource scaling. A systematic procedure is established to facilitate API maintenance, provide safe data access, enable containerized deployment, and provide real-time performance monitoring. The suggested method highlights modularity, operating efficiency, and maintenance simplicity, while minimizing infrastructure management burdens. Performance evaluation across diverse workloads reveals enhancements in system responsiveness, service availability, deployment velocity, and scalability. The findings imply that combining current backend technologies with cloud infrastructure can offer a durable and adaptive environment for corporate software, online business platforms, and other data-intensive applications. The platform provides a viable foundation for enterprises wishing to upgrade backend operations and enable future application growth.
