Abstract

Amidst the evolution of digital tools in the fields of rehabilitation medicine and orthopedics, the "Console App: Guided Plantar Footprint Assessment & Parametric Orthotic Insole Specification" emerges as a specialized technical aid. It is designed to support professionals in assessing plantar footprints and determining preliminary specifications for parametric orthotic insoles.The application’s scientific and computational framework is grounded in 14 authoritative research papers published in peer-reviewed journals that meet high levels of evidence standards; these papers are internationally recognized references for assessing the medial longitudinal arch and designing orthotic devices.The application integrates educational and computational functions into a single, user-friendly interface. It features 12 validated qualitative assessments based on plantar footprints, supported by precise illustrations explaining each specific indicator.
