Abstract

This dataset contains all raw and processed data supporting the findings of the original research article "The Role of miR-214-3p in Hair Follicle Neural Crest Stem Cell-derived Exosomes in the Repair of Peripheral Nerve Injury". The study aimed to investigate the role and mechanism of hair follicle neural crest stem cell-derived exosomes (hfNCSCs-Exos) and their carried miR-214-3p in promoting neurite outgrowth and peripheral nerve regeneration. The dataset comprises the following: 1. Cell and Exosome Characterization Data: Immunocytochemical staining images of primary hair follicle neural crest stem cells (hfNCSCs). Western Blot raw images and quantification data for exosome markers (e.g., CD63, CD9) of hfNCSCs-Exos. 2. In Vitro Experiment Data: Immunofluorescence staining images (for markers like GAP43 and NF200) of acrylamide-injured rat dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons treated with different groups (Control, hfNCSCs-Exos, miR-214-3p HA/LA hfNCSCs-Exos). Includes raw image files for quantification and analyzed morphometric data (e.g., neurite length, branch count). 3. In Vivo Experiment Data: Histological Data: Immunohistochemical/immunofluorescence staining images (e.g., for NF200) of longitudinal sections from the regenerated sciatic nerve in a rat defect model across different treatment groups. Functional Recovery Data: Histological section images (H&E staining) of gastrocnemius. Raw records and quantified scoring sheets for motor function assessments (e.g., Sciatic Functional Index). Methodology & Processing: Data were generated following the experimental procedures detailed in the "Materials and Methods" section of the associated paper, including cell isolation, exosome extraction/characterization, establishment of cell and animal injury models, immunostaining, Western Blot, image acquisition, morphometric analysis, and behavioral tests. Raw images were analyzed using Fiji software. Link to Publication: This dataset directly supports the research presented in the manuscript titled "The Role of miR-214-3p in Hair Follicle Neural Crest Stem Cell-derived Exosomes in the Repair of Peripheral Nerve Injury ". The DOI for the article will be added upon acceptance.

The impact of agile practices on communication in software development

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.
