Abstract

Driven by the advancement of the global economy and maritime shipping sector, the requirement for high-quality communication services for ocean-going vessels has kept rising steadily. This tendency not only increases the operational burden on port traffic management authorities, but also poses new technical difficulties for the efficient scheduling of satellite communication resources. Focusing on the core issue of satellite resource scheduling, this study develops a whale optimization algorithm suitable for marine satellite communication scenarios, to achieve the collaborative optimization of beams, time slots and beam pointing. On this foundation, integrated with the user priority weighting mechanism, the allocation of communication resources for users within a single beam is ultimately accomplished.
