Abstract
Analysis code, derived descriptor tables, figures and verification suite supporting the Letter Nearly Equal Retention Metrics Conceal a 131 mV Rested-Voltage Shift in a Cold Commercial Sodium-Ion Cell. The work is a third-party reanalysis of the public TU Berlin / DepositOnce archive Evaluation of Commercial Sodium-Ion Batteries by State-of-the-Art Lithium-Ion Battery Configurations (DOI 10.14279/depositonce-25036, CC BY 4.0). No new measurements were made. One commercial 18650 sodium-ion cell (SIB) is compared against LFP, NMC and LTO lithium-ion references of the same format and rated capacity, over a 5-45 °C checkup series. The central result is a three-term decomposition of the delivered-energy shortfall on cooling from 25 to 5 °C, evaluated on the charge axis the intermittent load/rest checkup discharge itself provides. Delivered energy falls by 25.1 %; of that shortfall, 58 % lies in a shorter delivered-charge window, 27 % in growth of the load-to-rest energy gap, and 15 % in a lower rested voltage over the charge window common to both temperatures. The load-to-rest gap is a finite-rest proxy for voltage-polarisation energy, not a measurement of dissipated heat: no calorimetry is available and none is claimed. Even the deliberately conservative allocation of the entire third term to residual polarisation leaves 42 % of the shortfall polarisation-associated against 58 % in the shorter-window term. Protocol controls disfavour upper-state preparation as the dominant source of the window term without establishing equal stored charge. With one cell per family in the temperature series, the numerical shares describe the cells analysed, not the chemistries as classes. This deposit contains the full analysis pipeline (run end to end by scripts/reproduce_all.py), all regenerated tables and figures, a 29-test regression suite, a 62-check reproducibility audit, and a checker that re-derives every numerical value quoted in the manuscript from the released tables. The raw archive is not redistributed; scripts/fetch_depositonce_dataset.py downloads it from the source and records a SHA-256 per file. Software is licensed MIT; derived data, figures and text are licensed CC BY 4.0. See LICENSE and LICENSE-DATA.
This publication proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches and analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being "agile" against the defined criterion.

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.

The results indicate that software engineering work practices are chosen opportunistically, adapted and configured to provide value under the constrains imposed by the startup context.

The results show that the embedded industry has been able to apply agile methods in its development processes and that the appreciation of the agile methods and their individual practices appears to increase once adopted and applied in practice.

AI is making software generation faster, but speed does not remove the need for expertise. As more work is delegated to AI, tacit knowledge may become one of the most important human advantages in software engineering.
