Scientometric Analysis of the Research Output of IIM Indore (2005-2024)

Abstract

The Web of Science (WoS) database was used to conduct a detailed assessment of 227 research articles from IIM Indore between 2005 and 2024. The analysis covers year-wise growth, subject-specific research field distribution, document type distribution, prolific authors by publication count and impact factor, top-cited papers, relevant sources with impact factor, and funding agencies for IIM Indore. According to the findings, IIM Indore’s productivity peaked in 2024. Banerjee S was the most prolific author, with 13 publications, and the Computer Science, Mathematics & Engineering Area published the greatest number of publications, a total of 168. The Journal of Cleaner Production and Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review each published the most papers, with seven each. The National Science Foundation (NSF) provided the most funding, supporting nine publications.
