Prospective Forms of Interaction: Establishing Public Councils under the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the Courts of the Subjects of the Russian Federation

Abstract

The article substantiates the necessity of institutionalizing public councils under the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the courts of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation as a prospective form of public control. The essential features, functional purpose and permissible limits of interaction of such councils with judicial bodies are determined, and models of their legal status and competence are proposed.
