PROCESSO DE ELABORAÇÃO DO PPC DO CURSO DE MANUTENÇÃO E DETECÇÃO DE DEFEITOS EM SISTEMAS FOTOVOLTAICOS
Abstract
: The rapid expansion of photovoltaic (PV) systems in Brazil has increased the demand for qualified professionals not only for system installation but also for operation, maintenance, and fault diagnosis during the post ‑ installation phase. In this context, this paper presents the process of developing a Pedagogical Course Project (PPC) for a 40 ‑ hour extension course focused on maintenance and fault detection in photovoltaic systems. The development process was structured in four main stages: analysis of sectoral growth and emerging training demands, definition of target audience and graduate competencies, design of the didactic structure integrating theory and practice, and definition of a competency ‑ based assessment model. The course is organized into five theoretical and five practical sessions, supported by nine hands ‑ on experimental tests using professional instrumentation such as I – V curve tracers, infrared thermography, and electrical measurements. A final integrative case study is employed to assess the participants’ ability to diagnose faults and produce technical reports with corrective and preventive recommendations. The proposed process contributes to the systematization of continuing education initiatives in photovoltaic systems and provides a replicable reference for curriculum development in Engineering Education.
