DESENVOLVIMENTO DE COMPETÊNCIAS EM DESENHO ARQUITETÔNICO: ANÁLISE DA EVOLUÇÃO DISCENTE COM BASE EM AUTOAVALIAÇÃO ESTRUTURADA
Abstract
: Architectural drawing education presents recurring challenges related to spatial understanding, application of technical standards, and development of graphical accuracy, especially in contexts with large classes and limited individualized support. In this scenario, strategies that enable continuous monitoring of learning become essential. This study aims to evaluate the evolution of graphic expression competencies of students enrolled in a technical high school program in Building Construction, based on the application of structured self-assessment instruments throughout the academic term. The research is characterized as applied, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, involving 30 students from a federal public educational institution. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires administered at the beginning and end of the course. The results indicated a consistent improvement in perceived technical confidence, with an increase of approximately 30.2%, as well as a reduction in difficulties related to graphical execution and an enhanced ability to identify errors. Additionally, a low level of engagement with academic tutoring was observed, suggesting the need for more structured integration of this resource into the learning process. It is concluded that structured self-assessment instruments constitute an effective strategy for monitoring the development of competencies in graphic-related disciplines, enabling the identification of learning gaps and supporting more targeted pedagogical interventions. The approach shows potential for application in different contexts of technical and engineering education.
