Abstract
Blockchain technology is very often presented as a promising solution for modernizing property registration, due to its characteristics of immutability, auditability, and traceability. However, the evolution of research in recent years shows that the initial technological enthusiasm has been followed by a more critical phase, in which the focus has shifted from abstract promises to the concrete conditions of legal, institutional, and operational integration. This article pursues two main objectives: (i) to present the current state of research regarding the use of blockchain in property registration systems and (ii) to identify the suitability of implementing such an infrastructure in Romania, by reference to the legal framework governing real estate registration, data protection requirements, and the current stage of digitalization of the National Agency of Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI). The study is qualitative, interdisciplinary, and evaluative in nature and is based on a set of sources such as scientific literature, institutional reports, case studies, and official normative sources. The analysis shows that international literature is dominated by prototypes and architectural models, while real-world implementations remain limited and, in all relevant cases, rely on permissioned and hybrid models, rather than fully decentralized public ledgers. For Romania, the article shows that the main barriers are not strictly technical, but legal–institutional: the legal recognition of distributed entries, the relationship with the function of the land book, the role of ANCPI, and compliance with GDPR. The conclusion of the research is that blockchain may be useful for cadastral records in Romania only within a complementary, phased, and institutionally controlled architecture, rather than as an immediate replacement for the current cadastral registration system.
The findings indicate that the main trends in blockchain usage include strengthening audit trails, verifying encrypted data, and integration with advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and smart contracts, which enhance audit efficiency, security, and transparency.

The paper considers the project "Corporate reforestation based on blockchain technologies" as a tool to increase the efficiency, transparency and investment attractiveness of reforestation activities. The relevance of the study is justified by insufficient scientific study of the use of distributed registries in forestry, as well as the need to attract private capital to fulfill the tasks of the federal project "Forest Conservation" and the national project "Environmental Well-being". Practical examples are analyzed, such as the foreign Web3Eco case (tokenization of rights to income from paulownia cultivation) and a domestic pilot project in the Krasnoyarsk Territory (monitoring deforestation using drones and blockchain). The specifics of the Irkutsk region as a key timber industry region with high environmental risks and strict requirements for tenants are shown. Data on the reforestation activities of large companies (Irkutsk Oil Company, Verkhnechonskneftegaz, Decom) are presented, confirming the transformation of reforestation into a market filter. The architecture of the blockchain platform has been developed, which includes functional modules (seedling accounting, growth monitoring, certificate management, and participant interaction). A business model based on Canvas methodology is presented value propositions for different segments, channels of interaction, sources of income (carbon credits, certificates, ecotourism, BaaS), key resources and partners, cost structure. An analysis of risks (technological, economic, environmental, social, legislative, personnel) was carried out with the proposal of response strategies (mitigation, transfer, acceptance). Recommendations are given on reducing costs (drone rentals, cloud solutions, energy-efficient PoS/DPoS consensuses, solar panels) and increasing revenue (tokenization of carbon credits, ecotourism, sponsorship, training).

This article explores the potential uses of blockchain technology in contemporary private law, with a particular focus on the Brazilian legal system. The author lists the main characteristics of blockchain, as an incremental, immutable, and reliable chain of blocks, and its potential to reconfigure private relationships. The study examines the various ways blockchain applies to the legal sphere (smart contracts, corporate deliberations, DAOs, IoT, IIoT, asset tokenization, evidence production, and arbitration), especially under Brazilian civil law. The methodology consists of a qualitative and analytical approach, based on a critical literature review and a legal-dogmatic analysis of texts relevant to the topic, highlighting Bambara and Allen (2018) for the technical foundations of blockchain among other specialized references concerning its legal applications. The article demonstrates blockchain's transformative potential, offering a new paradigm of legal certainty and decentralized trust, capable of impacting everything from contract theory to supranational corporate structures.

The efficiency and performance of logistics, and thereby business operations, increasingly depend on decentralized and tamper-proof records for managing transactions and data flows. For these reasons, the use and professional implementation of blockchain technology (BCT) has become essential to preserving the competitiveness of the digital and globalized economy. My aim was to examine the collaboration networks of articles on blockchain in logistics published in recent years, and to identify the key studies that may prove fundamental. Data was collected from the Web of Science scientific database in accordance with the PRISMA guidelines. The results were visualized using the VOSviewer bibliometric analysis software. As a result of the screening process, I analyzed 32 relevant studies in detail. I found that the United Kingdom and China play leading roles in this field, with several research groups contributing simultaneously to the scientific outcomes. Based on keyword analysis, a total of five clusters were identified, each representing distinct research areas.
Currently, the most significant threat to the validity of academic credentials in the United States is the advanced forgery of transcripts along with diploma mills. This research study addresses the potential of blockchain technology as a decentralized means to protect academic credentials. By integrating recent academic research and technical frameworks, this study analyzes the shift from centralized databases to immutable, distributed ledgers. The integration of various perspectives, including advanced zero-knowledge proof architectures as well as legal frameworks for transnational data circulation, is a major innovation of this study. Using a systematic literature review and a case study approach, the research indicates that though blockchain's potential to enhance security and automate processes through smart contracts is indeed great, a number of legal, compliance, and technical barriers have to be removed for it to be a viable option. This study proposes that the combination of artificial intelligence (AI), along with blockchain technology, provides the most secure option for U.S. higher education institutions.
