Perancangan Program Aplikasi Rekam Medis Elektronik Pasien Berbasis Macro dan Vba Excel Pada Klinik Cinta Medika 4.0
Abstract
The digital transformation in healthcare requires the implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to facilitate the management of patient health data. The issuance of Minister of Health Regulation (PMK) Number 24 of 2022 mandates healthcare facilities to transition from manual to electronic medical records by December 31, 2023. While this policy aims to enhance efficiency and data accessibility, many healthcare facilities, including Klinik Cinta Medika 4.0, face challenges in adopting these systems due to limitations in budget and technology. This study aims to design an Electronic Medical Record application program based on Macro and VBA Excel to assist clinics in managing patient data more efficiently. The goal is to address issues related to cost and technological readiness while facilitating the transition from manual to digital systems. Method: The study employs a user needs analysis method. Discussions with users are conducted to determine the necessary design and features of the application. The application is then developed using Microsoft Excel with Macro and VBA features to manage patient medical records, including data entry, processing, and reporting. Results The designed application enables clinic staff to perform data input and output of patient medical records more easily and efficiently. The application includes features for recording patient data, medication forms, and administrative tasks, tailored to user needs. The use of Macro and VBA Excel helps reduce operational costs and simplifies data management without requiring significant investment. The Macro and VBA Excel-based electronic medical record application serves as an effective solution for clinics that have not fully adopted electronic systems. By employing a user needs analysis method, the application meets the clinic's data management requirements and supports a smoother transition from manual to digital systems.
