Abstract
Highlights • Customized foot orthoses (CFOs) significantly improved pain and foot function in individuals with plantar heel pain after 6 months of use.• Higher low back disability and neural tension on the symptomatic side were associated with a lower likelihood of responding to CFOs.• The findings highlight the value of a comprehensive physical assessment, including spinal and neural factors, in predicting CFOs’ outcomes.
