Abstract

Orthogonal fluorescent probes for simultaneous multi-biomarker monitoring are highly desirable yet difficult to design. Herein, we report NTLH (naphthalene-thiophene-lepidine hybrid), a dual-channel, mitochondria-targeting, molecular rotor-based fluorescent probe that enables orthogonal detection of viscosity and human serum albumin (HSA) in solution and in live cells.
