DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF AN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-SUPPORTED MODEL FOR ENHANCING ANALYTICAL THINKING SKILLS AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Abstract
The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into higher education has created new opportunities for enhancing students’ analytical thinking skills, which are essential for critical evaluation, problem-solving, and evidence-based decision-making. This study aims to develop and validate an AI-supported model designed to improve analytical thinking among university students. A mixed-methods research approach was employed, including model design, expert validation, and pedagogical experimentation involving control and experimental groups. The model’s effectiveness was assessed through statistical analyses based on group mean values, effectiveness indicators, sample variance, standard error, confidence intervals, and knowledge assessment measures. The reliability and significance of the results were further examined using the chi-square (χ²) criterion.
