Abstract

This article analyzes the close relationship between the socio-political thought of the Karakhanid period and the philosophical heritage of the East. It examines the essence and content of ideas concerning justice, knowledge, morality, public administration, law, and social order reflected in the works of Yusuf Khass Hajib and Mahmud al-Kashgari. The study employs historical-comparative, systematic, and source-critical methods to substantiate the significance of the Karakhanid heritage for Uzbekistan’s spiritual and cultural development and contemporary socio-political thought.
