El papel de la formación en TIC en rol docente y el aprendizaje estudiantil: una exploración en secundaria
Abstract
The article explores the impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) training and the teaching role on the learning of secondary school students in Colombia. The study was carried out in five educational institutions located in different regions, offering a broad perspective on pedagogical practices mediated by ICT. The main objective was to analyze the degree of implementation and effectiveness of these tools, considering their alignment with expected learning outcomes and students’ perceptions. The specific objectives were to describe teachers’ ICT training, identify pedagogical strategies applied in the classroom, and assess the effect of technological training on academic performance. Designed as an exploratory qualitative study, it employed in-depth interviews and focus groups as data collection methods. The findings highlight that teachers with digital competencies achieve more effective teaching–learning processes, although infrastructure limitations and the need for continuous training remain significant challenges
