Abstract

The digital transformation of the real estate industry has entered a new phase in which software platforms, rather than individual applications, define organizational competitiveness. Traditional PropTech solutions have largely focused on digitizing isolated business processes such as property listings, leasing, customer management, and facility operations. However, increasing technological complexity has created a growing need for integrated enterprise platforms capable of coordinating cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, enterprise software, data engineering, and intelligent business processes within a unified digital ecosystem. This article argues that future PropTech organizations should be engineered as cloud-native software platforms rather than collections of independent technology products. The study proposes an engineering-oriented framework that integrates scalable cloud computing architectures, enterprise software integration, AI-as-a-Service, intelligent workflow orchestration, modern data platforms, and governance mechanisms into a cohesive reference architecture for next-generation PropTech ecosystems. Unlike conventional studies that primarily emphasize smart buildings or digital twins, this research approaches PropTech from the perspective of enterprise software engineering, highlighting platform scalability, interoperability, modularity, automation, and operational intelligence as the principal drivers of digital transformation. The proposed framework demonstrates how cloud-native infrastructure, API-first integration, artificial intelligence services, and enterprise orchestration collectively establish the technological foundation required for autonomous, adaptive, and continuously evolving real estate platforms capable of supporting the future digital economy.
