Abstract
Sports data repositories are rapidly expanding, offering new opportunities for research and education across sport science and related fields. However, there is limited understanding of how to support prospective users’ engagement with athlete data. We address this gap through a think-aloud study with eight university-affiliated researcher-educators with interest in using a collegiate athletics data repository in the United States. The findings surface these users’ discipline-specific concerns for sports repositories including minimizing risk to athletes, vendor and roster constraints shaping data usability, and the strong potential of using the data for educational purposes. This work advances SportsHCI by empirically grounding the needs of researcher-educators with the goal of supporting users from diverse academic disciplines in engaging with athlete data ecosystems.
This publication proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches and analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being "agile" against the defined criterion.

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.

It is proved that any global minimizer of the trajectory balance objective can define a policy that samples exactly from the target distribution, and empirically demonstrate the benefits of the trajectories balance objective for GFlowNet convergence, diversity of generated samples, and robustness to long action sequenc...
